Resilience Month
This
month is all about being prepared, some of the activities of National Disaster
Resilience Month (NDRM) aimed to further strengthen every individual’s
capability to be disaster resilient.
In
our locals, some conduct information to build awareness, some built a better
drainage system to accommodate rains, some are fixing their roofs, some are
cutting tree branches that may fall when there is a storm and there are also
training for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) that may save peoples’ lives.
Let’s
fasten our seat belts, prepare for the big battle. We shall stood straight and
strong in times of any disastrous disaster that may ruin, damage our houses
also or lives.
“The
resiliency, safety and protection of the community can be achieved through the
cooperation and readiness of the public to assist each other especially in
times of emergencies and disasters”- Health Secretary Francisco Duque III.
