Pandemic ka lang, I AM FILIPINO

Image
A newly discovered virus called 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) is making headlines for causing an outbreak throughout the world. Many people felt hopeless and helpless because of the millions of cases of sick and dead people of the the said virus, but Filipinos are an exemption to that.               Filipinos have always been known as a resilient, optimistic and forward-looking people even in the face of the most horrendous disasters. They don't have the luxury of time to wallow in their misery, but together they find the strength to bounce back, not too long after a tragedy strike.               They believe that even just a small action can make a big change to the society. That "small action" means we need to abide the protocols because it's the best thing we can do to stop the spread of virus in the public.         ...

Final quarter has finally come, it’s sad to think that this will be my last grading with my MaxConi Fam and being a SSC student. My junior high moment will end here. The memories that have made will remain, so as my love for them.           From being a warfreak in the 7th grade to being a crybaby this 10th grade, being here right now for like 4 years with my MaxConi babies, I learned a lot, I meet new friends and called them FAMILY. But sadly, there's always a goodbyes. I hope the next time we meet again, you're already wearing your lab coats, suits, engineer helmet and carrying a briefcase.           Time is running out and so as my term as a Corporal S8 in the CAT Organization but the moments with my beloved officers and trainees will be treasured. I never thought of making a lot friends until I entered High School. I guess High School life is really the best. Farewell to all. Until we meet again my CAT and MaxConi Fam. This is...

DREAM OF THE FUTURE

Image
Ever since I was a kid, I always want to become neurosurgeon and an engineer. Since life is so hard, I planned on becoming an engineer first so that when I earned a lot of money, I’ll study again to become a neurosurgeon. Dreaming even when you have a hard life means fighting a dragon with faith because we cannot assure if we’re really going to be what we really want in the future but at least we’ve tried even there’s no assurance. There’s no wrong about dreaming as long as it gives you happiness and to your loved ones. Source:  https://giphy.com/gifs/vaporwave-chillwave-dreamwave-TgmSMsUvvRfbivssMz

The 118th ISNHS Day was celebrated last March 1-2, 2018. Students were thrilled to perform their fully prepared presentations for the field demonstration.  Source:  http://alliahnicolesayo0928.blogspot.com/2019/03/isnhs-117.html

SURE ILOCOS SUR!

Image
Ilocos Sur is a province rich in culture that represents the ancient Spanish and Filipino heritage. To show and share their treasures to the whole world, the locals conceived a festival that highlights these cultural traditions and they called it the “Kannadiwan Festival”. One mission of the festival is paying more attention to the children. It is because of the observation that many traditions, songs, dances, and other Ilocano culture are not recognized by the younger generations of the province.  Source:  https://www.facebook.com/760430717443642/photos/p.1475230959296944/1475230959296944/?type=1&theater

Change for the Better

Changing for the better means putting efforts into changing ourselves and our circumstances. We can’t never ever go back in time and change the beginning but as long as we’re alive and kicking, there’s still a chance.

Still me in New Year

Image
Source:  https://giphy.com/gifs/girls-heart-i-love-you-3o7WIxFVNzXbeqgPiU          Another decade, another year but I’ll stay the same but refined. A new year to make a better decision, to set aside the bad vibes and ponderous problems, to make another dream come true, setting a new goal for another victory.         Thanking back the past years for the lessons and failures that became an encouragement and strength to strive harder and wiser, for the new knowledge. This year, this decade, whatever tears me apart, I won’t let it break my heart.
